synopsis
“I want to be a ballerina”, Kanna said.
Kanna ran away from home with a dream of becoming a ballerina.
On the way, she met a boy, Tamaki, with a bandage on his right eye. He was with his sister, Ayame.
When Tamaki looked into his marble, which was a substitute for his right eye, he saw a dream-like world in which he discovered purity, freedom and enthusiasm, the same world, which was singing and dancing in Kanna’s dream. Its colour was red.
“Canna Lily” was filmed in the beautiful and colourful nature of Shikoku Island.
The film enables us to enter the dream-like world of these sensitive children who do not want to forget its existence.
This world is compared to the dynamic and passionate musicals of olden times.
